“I don’t have the money.”
“I don’t have the time.”
“I can’t get time off work.”
“I don’t feel like it’s right for me.”
These are all ‘reasons’ given by students for changing their mind. Today at our staff meeting it was brought to my attention that there were several students who recently attended Part 2 in West Palm Beach who had declared, and in some instances paid in full, to be Masterful Living and have now decided not to complete on their commitments.
These are all valid and very common circumstances. Yet, they are simply that…circumstances.
I let circumstances make decisions for me many times in my life. The results were always the same. I dance the same dance over and over…and, the same circumstances keep showing up, keeping me away form what it is that I really want.
And, that is really THE most important question we can ask ourselves: What do I want?
•Without a clear and juicy vision, you can’t really create what it is that you want in your life.
•Without a vision that pulls you forward, circumstances will make decisions for you.
•Without a vision, you end up living in a “dead” space…a space where creation is disabled.
If I still lived from having my judgments, circumstances and feelings make my choices and dictate my way of being, I would NOT be close to living the full, exciting, powerful and inspiring life I am living today. TOFA (Token of Appreciation) would still be just a great idea (I have had many of those in my life), Gratitude Training would still be a pipe dream and a loving, supportive family would not even be on my road map.
My first step towards living from vision was the day I chose to be FL145 (the Masterful Living of my time), and then for 90 days I continued to learn how to choose my vision over all the “other stuff” that I had allowed to get in the way previously. Even though my vision at the time was big, I could not even have imagined the life that was about to be created and the life I am living today. That is why Masterful Living, the third part of Gratitude Training’s curriculum is, in my opinion, the most important and impactful part.
My Vision is to awaken the planet, maximize joy and actualize peace. Vision is what drives me. Vision chooses for me. Vision is my fuel.
What is your vision? I want to know…
